Job Description
Supports UNFPA Burundi's internship programme as a remote UN Volunteer mentor in innovation and entrepreneurship. The mentor researches innovation themes for young people, supports capacity-building sessions, proposes improvements to youth activities, documents UNFPA and partner initiatives, builds an innovation-results database, and analyses entrepreneurship opportunities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research innovation themes applicable to entrepreneurship among young women and men aged 18 to 35
- Contribute to and participate in entrepreneurship capacity-building sessions for young women and men
- Propose innovations for youth entrepreneurship activities
- Document UNFPA- and partner-funded youth and adolescent entrepreneurship activities and share good practices
- Build a database of office achievements in innovation applicable to youth entrepreneurship
- Contribute to identifying and analysing innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities
- Provide support in other intervention areas as needed
Role Requirements
- University Master/BAC level in innovation, entrepreneurship or a related field
- Fluent written and spoken French, English and Kirundi
- Basic knowledge of administration and project management
