This UNV online mentoring assignment guides UNFPA Burundi interns working on young people and adolescents, with emphasis on sexual and reproductive rights, youth leadership, employability and capacity building. The mentor contributes to programme activities, event preparation, follow-up reporting, good-practice documentation and practical innovations for youth sexual and reproductive health.

• Mentor interns on sexual and reproductive rights, youth leadership and young people's employability
• Participate in training and capacity-building activities for interns
• Support programme implementation and the organisation of workshops, seminars, conferences and meetings
• Prepare activity and workshop reports and follow up recommendations
• Document good practices on adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health
• Propose innovations for activities addressing adolescents' and young people's sexual and reproductive health
• Prepare periodic reports and information notes

• Master's or bachelor's degree in psychology, education sciences or a related field
• Fluent written and spoken French, English and Kirundi
• Basic knowledge of administration and project management
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media
