Supports UNDP in Karakalpakstan to strengthen agricultural export competitiveness and market access. The volunteer assesses international markets and local value chains, identifies capacity gaps, and develops export strategies, branding concepts and practical roadmaps that help producers meet quality standards, reach target buyers and grow sustainable agricultural exports.

• Analyse priority international markets, import regulations, standards and consumer preferences for Karakalpakstan agricultural products
• Identify export-oriented niche products with strong market value and revenue potential
• Prepare market-assessment reports on priority destinations, buyers, channels, pricing and market-entry opportunities
• Assess production capacity, export readiness and value-chain constraints for agricultural commodities
• Identify capacity gaps among farmers, producers, processors and agri-exporters and recommend targeted interventions
• Develop export-market strategies and promotional approaches for priority agricultural products
• Create branding and market-positioning concepts, packaging and promotional materials for producer groups
• Prepare export-development roadmaps with actions, stakeholder roles, timelines, resources and monitoring indicators

• Advanced degree in international business, trade, agribusiness, economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with relevant training and professional experience
• At least three years of professional experience in export development, export promotion, international business, marketing, branding or related programmes
• Excellent oral, written, drafting, formulation and reporting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with community members, organisations and authorities in a multicultural environment
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
