Job Description
Provides conference and meetings support for Security Council subsidiary bodies within the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. The role coordinates meeting arrangements, documentation, participant records and conference resources, while supporting procedural briefs and committee reporting. It maintains meeting data, assists delegations and helps deliver Security Council proceedings.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate procedural and organisational arrangements for Security Council meetings and subsidiary bodies
- Draft procedural briefs for the President of the Security Council and its subsidiary bodies
- Ensure documents, personnel and required services are available for scheduled meetings
- Track and download documents through g-DOCS and ODS and maintain reference material
- Prepare committee programmes, agenda items, participant lists and reports on proceedings
- Maintain meeting databases, publish Journal information and prepare monthly statistics
- Coordinate conference facilities, seating plans, resources and cost estimates
- Respond to delegation queries and support planning for meetings away from Headquarters
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of experience in conference support or a related area
- Fluency in English
- Authorisation to work for the United Nations at the New York duty station
Desired Criteria
- Experience supporting Security Council services
- Experience organising official meetings and working with all levels of management
