Responsibilities

  • Manage the Under-Secretary-General's calendar, meetings, travel and confidential correspondence
  • Maintain legal reference files, records, databases and document-retrieval processes
  • Support committees, ceremonies, high-level meetings and legal-office logistics
  • Draft, edit and finalize correspondence, memoranda and specialized legal documentation
  • Guide office support staff and provide administrative support to senior office leadership

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Seven years of relevant experience, reduced to five with a first-level university degree or higher
  • English at UN Level II
  • Authorization to work in the United States because the post is locally recruited
