Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and preparation of UNCITRAL non-legislative activities
- Research international trade law using legal and electronic sources
- Draft, edit and accuracy-check legal documents, publications and correspondence
- Manage databases and electronic filing systems and maintain internal procedures
- Extract, analyse and visualize data for reports and decision support
- Organize seminars, symposia and online, hybrid or in-person meetings
- Assist with project proposals and budget documentation
- Update UNCITRAL web pages and information materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seven years of relevant paralegal, programme-support, administrative or project-administration experience, reduced to five years with a first university degree
- Experience drafting, editing and proofreading official or legal documents
- Experience managing databases or records systems and preparing analyses or presentations
- Experience supporting meetings, conferences, workshops or seminars
- English at UN Level III across reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Authorization to work at the Vienna duty station
