Job Description
The International Court of Justice roster supplies temporary executive assistants to judges in The Hague. The role manages confidential administration, correspondence, judicial documents, legal research collections, protocol, travel, onboarding and coordination across the Court’s working languages.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage confidential executive administration for a judge
- Draft and coordinate correspondence and communications
- Prepare, organize and track judicial documents
- Maintain legal research materials and reference collections
- Coordinate protocol, diplomatic contacts, travel and meetings
- Support human-resources actions and staff onboarding
- Assist with translations and bilingual workflow
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of progressively responsible executive-support experience, reduced to five years with a first university degree
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- UN Level III in English and Level II in French, or UN Level III in French and Level II in English
Desired Criteria
- University degree
- Knowledge of diplomatic etiquette and protocol
- Experience in a legal or judicial environment
- UN common-system or international-organisation experience
- Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish or Dutch
