Supports the Deputy Director General for Operations with administration, coordination, analysis and quality control. The officer manages priorities, briefing materials, follow-up actions, reporting, travel and records so the executive office operates coherently and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling priorities, calendars, meetings and administrative follow-up for the Deputy Director General
- Coordinate briefing packages, background notes and inputs for missions, events and senior engagements
- Track actions from meetings and governance bodies and identify delays, risks and solutions
- Support planning, monitoring, reporting, dashboards and research for Operations Pillar priorities
- Quality-assure correspondence and coordinate administrative actions across human resources, finance, procurement, contracts and logistics
- Arrange travel and logistics in compliance with organizational policies
- Maintain filing, records and knowledge-sharing systems and improve office workflows
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences, political science, public administration, management, international relations or a related field with two years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with four years of experience
- Relevant administrative or coordination experience in an international, governmental or non-governmental organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Open only to internal and internal-equivalent candidates in IOM’s competitive mobility exercise
