Drives private-sector fundraising, partnerships and resource mobilisation across UNICEF country and cluster offices in Latin America and the Caribbean. The specialist advises teams on growth opportunities, donor engagement, planning and investment decisions, and translates global fundraising strategies into regional action that expands sustainable income and influence for UNICEF programmes.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support private-sector fundraising and engagement strategy across regional country offices
  • Advise country offices on net-income growth, funding diversification and operational efficiency
  • Promote fundraising innovation and partnership approaches that accelerate revenue growth
  • Support private-sector plan development, annual budgets, reporting cycles and revenue allocation
  • Analyse fundraising performance, investments, expenses and trends across country offices
  • Strengthen planning, financial monitoring and reporting systems while sharing regional learning
  • Support country offices to apply risk management and due-diligence procedures for partnerships

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business management, marketing, finance, international development, social studies or another relevant technical field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in private-sector partnerships and fundraising, resource mobilisation or planning, monitoring and evaluation
  • Fluency in English and intermediate Spanish

Desired Criteria

  • Experience developing or managing complex fundraising or resource-mobilisation operations and donor-engagement strategies
  • Experience in development or humanitarian work, country programme planning processes and programme countries
  • Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
