Job Description
Provides logistics planning and support to MONUSCO’s Mission Support Centre in Kinshasa. The volunteer helps coordinate resource requirements, contingent and field-office support, asset and premises management, electoral-material logistics and performance monitoring, ensuring that logistics services are timely, compliant with United Nations rules and responsive to priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare short-, medium- and long-term field-office logistics support plans
- Coordinate logistics requirements with military contingents, police units and field-office personnel
- Provide logistics advice in line with UN regulations, policies and approved memoranda
- Coordinate logistics support to designated sub-offices and locations
- Oversee utilisation of UN and contingent-owned equipment, assets and leased premises
- Coordinate logistics for voter-registration and electoral-material delivery
- Provide accurate feedback on logistics support issues and performance indicators
Role Requirements
- Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible logistics or administrative experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
- English language ability
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with or within armed forces
