Summary of Responsibilities
- Implement the Standard on Fuel Management in country operations
- Develop a consultancy work plan and fuel-management risk register
- Coordinate bulk fuel tank leasing and infrastructure upgrades
- Plan procurement, transportation, installation and commissioning
- Maintain deployment, vendor-performance and site-readiness records
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with UNHCR standards
Role Requirements
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related engineering discipline
- At least ten years of relevant international logistics, supply management and fuel-management experience, or eight years with an advanced university degree
Desired Criteria
- Fuel quality control experience
- Fuel infrastructure optimisation experience
- Training experience for country fuel managers
