Logistics Senior Officer

Manages logistics and supply-chain activities for UNOPS in Tamatave, ensuring compliant, efficient delivery of goods to partners. The senior officer analyses proposals, improves logistics processes and last-mile distribution, applies UNOPS procurement rules, manages suppliers and stakeholders, and supports reliable health-service and public-sector supply operations in challenging locations.

• Manage and coordinate logistics activities
• Analyse and evaluate complex logistics proposals
• Ensure compliance with UNOPS procurement rules
• Implement last-mile distribution strategies
• Improve operational efficiency and delivery of goods to partners
• Coordinate suppliers and logistics stakeholders

• Master's degree with two years or bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience
• Relevant procurement, supply-chain, business-administration or public-administration experience
• Experience implementing last-mile distribution strategies in hard-to-reach areas
• Fluent French

• CIPS or other procurement-practitioner certification
• Experience in Madagascar's public-health system
• Knowledge of UN and UNOPS procurement rules
• Experience with national customs rules and regulations
