Job Description
Manages procurement, contract administration and logistics support for UNOPS healthcare projects in Uzbekistan. The associate registers vendors and purchase orders, monitors shipments and customs clearance, maintains contract and warehouse controls, coordinates suppliers and government offices, verifies invoices, and provides reporting to ensure compliant delivery of equipment and services.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Register vendors and create contracts and purchase orders in oneUNOPS
- Draft purchase orders, contracts, long-term agreements and amendments
- Monitor shipments and update stakeholders on order status
- Support customs clearance, release and collection of imported goods
- Coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders and government offices
- Review invoices and supplier documentation for payment
- Maintain contract-management and logistics monitoring tools
Role Requirements
- Secondary education with five years of procurement and logistics experience, or bachelor’s degree with one year
- Proficiency in computers, office software and web-based management systems
- Fluent English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with Uzbekistan Customs Authority
- Experience in a customs broker company
- Experience in UN system organizations
