Job Description

Provides procurement and supply-chain expertise to the IAEA Office of Procurement Services in Vienna. The consultant leads complex purchasing projects, market and supplier analysis, procurement strategies and evaluations, develops documentation and performance indicators, and advises technical teams to strengthen the procurement framework and deliver major requirements efficiently.

  • Provide specialist procurement expertise to project teams
  • Guide technical officers on specifications and procurement strategy
  • Conduct market research and supplier-base analysis
  • Develop procurement strategies and risk plans
  • Support procurement evaluation processes
  • Develop procurement documentation and reports
  • Conduct price analysis and supplier due diligence
  • Track supplier performance indicators

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Science, Law or a relevant discipline
  • At least five years of progressively professional experience in high-volume procurement operations
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
