Job Description

Leads workstreams for the World Economic Forum's Quantum Economy Network and Technology Convergence initiatives. The role builds cross-sector communities, develops quantum and AI activities and digital platforms, integrates frontier-technology portfolios, and turns analysis, stakeholder dialogue and events into thought leadership, collaboration and policy-relevant action.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Manage Quantum Economy Network and Technology Convergence workstreams with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Design and execute quantum and AI activities that accelerate ecosystem-level adoption and action
  • Coordinate Project Fellows through strategic support, progress tracking and feedback
  • Support development of the Quantum Applications Hub and Technology Convergence AI-Dashboard
  • Engage Forum partners and curate multi-stakeholder communities across business, government and civil society
  • Integrate quantum, AI, robotics, space, biology and climate-technology work across Forum centres
  • Lead reports, policy papers and blogs and analyse technology, regulatory and policy developments
  • Design workshops, roundtables and community events that inform the initiatives

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics, computer science, engineering, social sciences, communications or another cross-cutting field
  • Eight to ten years of relevant experience in technology-related domains and successful global initiatives
  • Experience designing, managing and facilitating communities, workshops and meetings virtually and in person
  • Proven project-management and coordination skills with critical thinking and synthesis across diverse global teams
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills

Desired Criteria

  • Experience in quantum technology, advanced computing or innovation
  • Knowledge of quantum technologies and other emerging technologies
  • Deep understanding of technology strategy, policy and value-chain impacts
