Job Description
UNICEF seeks a national UN Volunteer in New Delhi to lead the next phase of YouthHub, YuWaah's platform for youth learning, skilling, employment and civic participation. The manager will steer product roadmaps and multi-application delivery, partner with technical and programme teams, improve accessibility and user experience, and ensure secure, ethical, data-informed growth.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development for YouthHub functionalities, multiple applications and a tenancy-based backend
- Translate technical specifications into product roadmaps and development plans
- Drive adoption of modern development methodologies, including agentic AI
- Coordinate engineering, design and content teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure youth-friendly, inclusive UI/UX for marginalised and low-access users
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product decisions
- Manage UNICEF and partner stakeholder engagement across multiple geographies
- Monitor product performance, collect feedback and iterate to improve engagement and outcomes
Role Requirements
- Specialisation in computer science or another discipline requiring programming skills
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in product management
- Strong technical background in software-development environments
- Experience managing complex multi-product ecosystems
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for low-bandwidth and mobile-first environments
- English and Hindi
Desired Criteria
- Experience with digital platforms or technology-driven initiatives
- Experience working on platforms for diverse or underserved populations
- Familiarity with AI-driven or agentic development methodologies

Additional Information
- National UN Volunteer assignment via UNV
- One-year assignment with extension subject to funding, operational need and satisfactory performance
