Job Description
Guides Albania’s Ministry of Education in designing a practical roadmap to introduce assistive technology in inclusive education. The consultant reviews Albanian, international and EU practice; consults UNICEF, ministries, schools, families, NGOs and other stakeholders; proposes institutional arrangements and assistive technology laboratory models; and prepares a costed roadmap for sustainable implementation and scale-up.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop an assistive technology roadmap for the education system
- Analyse disability inclusion and assistive technology needs in education
- Engage stakeholders to inform the roadmap and its implementation approach
- Provide technical advice on assistive technology innovation and related services
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in human sciences, education, pedagogy, psychology, sociology or another humanities field
- At least five years of expertise in disability, assistive technology in education, ICT and assistive technology innovation
- At least five years of experience including children and young people with disabilities in education
- English is required
Desired Criteria
- Experience in ICT or assistive technology application development
- Experience with UN or UNICEF mandates and procedures
