Job Description

Provides technical support to UNICEF Myanmar’s Education Section to expand digital learning opportunities for foundational literacy, numeracy and adolescent skills. The consultant will strengthen Learning Passport and other platforms, support capacity building and use learner and programme data to improve access to quality education in humanitarian and low-resource settings.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Expand digital learning opportunities for foundational literacy, numeracy and adolescent skills
  • Manage or administer learning management systems and digital learning platforms
  • Support online and offline learning resources and platform users
  • Design and facilitate capacity-building activities for partners and educators
  • Analyse platform usage, learner engagement and feedback data
  • Prepare technical reports, dashboards, visualisations and presentations

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Design or International Development
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in digital learning, education technology, learning management systems, education programme implementation or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Understanding of the Myanmar education context and vulnerable learners
  • Experience with UNICEF or other UN agencies on education or digital learning programmes
  • Experience in low-resource, humanitarian or conflict-affected settings
  • Knowledge of the Myanmar language
