Job Description

This UNICEF internship supports continuous improvement and use of the Emergency Preparedness Platform (EPP 3.0), a corporate digital solution for preparedness analysis, planning and decision-making. The intern will test functionality, validate data and calculations, document issues, turn user feedback into backlog items, support users and contribute to training and preparedness activities with the Emergency Preparedness team.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Test EPP 3.0 functionality and validate system data and calculations
  • Document platform issues and help translate user feedback into Product Backlog Items
  • Support user queries, webinars and training activities
  • Assist preparedness-related operational support and platform improvements

Role Requirements

  • Enrolment in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or graduation within the past two years
  • 6 months to 1 year of software testing, quality assurance or data-validation experience, including internships or academic projects
  • Basic understanding of software-testing principles and methodologies
  • Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and identify inconsistencies

Desired Criteria

  • Familiarity with integrated systems and data workflows
  • Exposure to issue-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps
