Job Description

The assignment supports WFP's HR technology and payroll operations while enabling the One Payroll transformation. It translates HR and payroll needs into system requirements, tests integrations and releases, resolves operational issues across Workday and SAP, validates payroll data and outputs, supports cutover and go-live readiness, and develops guidance and training that help users adopt harmonised global processes.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Draft and validate cross-functional requirements for HR and payroll systems integration
  • Test system enhancements, releases, payroll interfaces and reports against business requirements
  • Develop user documentation, guidance and training for time and benefits processes and systems
  • Monitor integration errors and payroll-system queries and provide corrective guidance to users
  • Support One Payroll business analysis, requirements gathering and process design
  • Execute integration tests, document results and validate functional and operational scenarios
  • Support cutover, go-live readiness, payroll parallel runs and post-deployment stabilisation
  • Deliver change-management communications, stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, computer engineering or a related field
  • One to two years of progressively responsible general administrative experience, including at least one year in human resources in an international context
  • Knowledge of UN business processes, practices and procedures
  • Ability to interpret HR rules, regulations and data
  • Experience providing customer-service support
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience administering and supporting HR systems
  • Experience in HR operations using SAP HR modules and Workday
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
