Job Description

IFC seeks an investment analyst in Kyiv to support public-private partnership, privatisation and corporate-finance advisory mandates across Ukraine and Europe. Working with transaction teams, the analyst will help originate projects, conduct due diligence and financial analysis, structure transactions, prepare marketing and tender material, and coordinate execution through transaction close.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support project origination, scoping, pitchbooks, proposals and IFC governance processes
  • Prepare documentation for internal approvals and consultant procurement
  • Engage government and private clients to assess infrastructure and public-service needs
  • Manage due diligence, data collection and review of legal, commercial and technical outputs
  • Prepare financial models and undertake financial analysis
  • Support investor marketing, roadshows, tendering, bidder negotiations and transaction close
  • Coordinate execution with IFC, World Bank Group, environmental and social, legal and investment teams

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, management, accounting or a related specialty
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a leading financial institution
  • Experience in PPP transaction advisory, M&A or privatisation advisory, project finance or private equity
  • Strong financial modelling and structuring skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Ukrainian
  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice

Desired Criteria

  • Infrastructure-sector experience, including power, transport or social infrastructure
  • Experience with sell-side or government PPP transaction advisory
  • Experience in development institutions
