E T Consultant - Investment

Supports IFC's Forestry and Wood Product cluster in Western Europe by identifying prospective sponsors, analysing companies and preparing client materials for business development. The consultant conducts financial, market and credit analysis, supports investment screening and negotiations, and helps structure and execute transactions after successful origination.

• Conduct industry and market research for IFC business development
• Analyse historical and projected financial statements
• Review company, economic and financial information and prepare client reports
• Prepare screening, indicative-terms and investment-committee documentation
• Prepare client pitchbooks and marketing presentations
• Participate in early investment negotiations and transaction structuring
• Identify data needed to assess financial, market, development-impact and ESG aspects of investments
• Maintain internal reporting materials and presentations

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Science, Engineering or a relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in business or finance
• Strong credit-analysis skills and ability to develop complex financial models
• Understanding of technical, industrial, financial, environmental, social, governance and development-impact aspects of investment transactions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and at least one other European language
