Job Description
Supports OHCHR’s Dynamic Knowledge and Library Team in Geneva to strengthen human-rights information services and the Human Rights Knowledge Gateway. Three internship profiles contribute research, intranet and knowledge-hub content, knowledge-sharing materials, data automation and information extraction, or library cataloguing, reference, digitisation and collection management.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support development of the Human Rights Knowledge Gateway and thematic knowledge hubs
- Conduct research and develop content and resources for human-rights knowledge hubs and the OHCHR intranet
- Organise knowledge-sharing events and produce knowledge-sharing materials, videos, tutorials and library guides
- Automate subject classification, website tagging and structured-information extraction from documents and sites
- Support daily library cataloguing, indexing, research, reference, digitisation and collection management
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in a graduate programme or final year of a bachelor-level programme, or graduation within the preceding year
- Studies in library science, information science, knowledge management, human rights, law, international relations or a related field
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish
