Job Description
The WHO Western Pacific internship supports the Healthy Ageing Unit’s work on community-based integrated and long-term care for older people. Over three months in Manila, the intern reviews caregiving evidence, compiles policy and country data, maps care models, identifies workforce and support gaps, and drafts an analytical brief and presentation that can inform regional healthy-ageing policy and future knowledge products.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct a structured literature review on formal and informal caregiving for older people
- Compile policies and country data and develop comparative caregiving mappings
- Draft an analytical brief and PowerPoint summary for internal use
Role Requirements
- Completion of three years of full-time study in public health, nursing, medicine or relevant health or social sciences and current university enrolment
- Expert knowledge of English
- Experience in literature reviews, desk-based research or analytical-report drafting
