Participants contribute to research projects, document and present their work, and collaborate with international scientists, engineers and technicians.

• Conduct doctoral research with CERN and the home university

• National of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
• Good knowledge of English or French
• University support for research contributing to a PhD thesis
• Started or about to start a doctoral programme
• Field of study in applied physics, engineering, computing or a related area

• Monthly net allowance of CHF 3,907
• 30 days of paid leave per year plus two weeks of annual closure
