Job Description
Strengthens WFP Afghanistan's cooperating-partner management cycle through Field Level Agreement budgeting, payments, contracting, risk control and digital process support. The consultant coordinates partner-performance information, reviews compliance and cost effectiveness, supports committees and capacity building, and helps maintain accountable partnerships for humanitarian programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate budget and programming processes for Field Level Agreements in line with WFP strategies
- Review Field Level Agreement budgets for accuracy, appropriateness, cost effectiveness and completeness
- Enter agreement budgets and supporting documents in WFP corporate systems and address review comments
- Support oversight and processing of cooperating-partner payments under corporate guidelines
- Prepare Project Review Committee material for calls for proposals and analyse ratings and cost effectiveness
- Analyse agreement and memorandum closure activities, including resource transfers and activity close-out
- Consolidate weekly and monthly situation-report information and discuss operational progress with stakeholders
- Supervise and coach a small team while representing the unit in relevant meetings and working groups
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree, or a first-level university degree with additional relevant work experience
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Windows MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Exposure to international work through an institution or international stakeholders
- Willingness to serve in different locations including hardship duty stations
