Job Description
WFP seeks a Programme Policy Officer in Aden to strengthen cooperating-partner and field-level-agreement management in Yemen. The officer will lead partner onboarding and due diligence, manage agreements, oversee performance evaluations and risk assurance, develop capacity-strengthening plans, maintain partnership records, and coordinate with field offices and partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead cooperating-partner engagement and onboarding through UNPP and Partner Connect
- Review due-diligence and capacity-assessment documentation
- Manage field-level-agreement contracting, amendments, extensions and closures
- Lead partner performance evaluations and analytical reporting
- Develop partner improvement action plans and capacity-strengthening initiatives
- Coordinate risk-based assurance, spot checks and corrective actions
- Supervise programme staff and serve as officer-in-charge when delegated
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international development, social sciences, business administration, public administration, project management, humanitarian affairs or a related field
- Five years of relevant experience including one year of professional experience
- At least four years of experience in cooperating-partner management, programme management, compliance, risk management or humanitarian and development operations
- English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Previous team leadership, supervisory or coordination experience
