Job Description
This fixed-term role strengthens WFP Egypt’s management of cooperating partners. The Programme Policy Officer will coordinate partner selection, agreements, performance reviews and assurance activities; improve risk-informed monitoring and reporting; build partner and staff capacity; and support accountable food-assistance delivery through governance, evidence and stakeholder coordination.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate partnership identification, selection, agreements and performance management with NGOs and government organisations
- Lead agreement preparation, review, tracking and processing for agreements, MOUs, amendments and extensions
- Coordinate partner performance reviews, action trackers and corrective-action follow-up
- Plan risk-informed spot checks and translate findings into mitigation measures
- Develop partner-management tools, checklists, SOPs and learning sessions
- Analyse monitoring and operational data to identify trends, capacity gaps and management actions
- Maintain dashboards and analytical briefs and represent the partnership-management function in coordination forums
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international relations, development studies, business administration, social sciences, economics or a relevant field, or first university degree with additional related experience or training
- At least seven years of relevant experience including three years of professional experience in programme, partnerships, grant or project management, humanitarian operations or food assistance
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Experience in governmental and non-governmental partnership development and management
- Experience with legal partnership agreements, performance reviews, compliance and oversight
- Experience in capacity assessment and development of national and local organisations
