Intern (Business Relationship Management)

OICT's Business Relationship Management Section in New York is offering unpaid internships of 3–6 months focused on ICT client relations, data analytics, and project support for the UN's digital transformation office. Interns will choose a primary track and assist with tasks ranging from dashboard development and SQL-based data modelling to coordinating ICT service requests and supporting innovation pilots such as telemedicine for peacekeeping missions.

Department: Business Relationship Management Section

• Assist Business Relationship Managers in maintaining relationships with OICT partners and understanding their ICT needs and priorities
• Develop corporate visualization solutions and interactive dashboards from multiple data sources using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
• Build data models and perform ad hoc analysis including sentiment analysis and predictive analytics
• Support priority projects including the telemedicine capability pilot for UN peacekeeping missions via SharePoint/Teams hub
• Help analyze performance across functional areas including HR, supply chain and operational support
• Provide administrative and substantive support to meetings including preparation of background documents and meeting minutes

• Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme (second university degree or higher), OR enrolled in or completed the final year of a first university degree

• Unpaid internship; 3 months with possible extension to 6 months
• Preference for candidates available full-time and for the full 6-month term
• Intern indicates preference among three tracks: Business Relationship Management, Data Analytics, or Project Support
