Senior Technician (IT Change Management)

Supports NCIA's Torrejon service unit in maintaining reliable change and configuration-management services for NATO customers. The technician records risks and requirements, administers configuration items and change requests, applies low-risk change controls, audits information quality, and helps manage service documentation, software licences, vendor support contracts and service-level commitments.

• Undertake risk-management activities and maintain risk, threat and mitigation records
• Elicit, specify and document requirements for defined subject areas
• Administer configuration items, components and changes
• Track, report on and correct configuration information
• Administer and track change requests
• Apply change-control procedures for standard low-risk changes
• Identify infrastructure and non-infrastructure IT changes
• Support audits of information accuracy and corrective actions

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with two years of post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with four years of post-related experience
• Two years of practical experience managing change requests from initiation to closure with process owners and stakeholders
• Two years of experience in configuration management, CMDB or inventory accuracy, audits and reconciliations, software licences, vendor support contracts and service-level agreements
• Fluency in written and spoken English
