GEO Technician (Geospatial Data Modelling Manager)

The technician designs and governs NATO geospatial data models, schemas and metadata repositories, manages information on exchange platforms, improves interoperability among data owners and standards bodies, and translates location-based information into reliable analytical and operational products.

• Develop geospatial data schemas and models
• Design and maintain metadata repositories
• Manage location data on NATO exchange platforms
• Coordinate data owners and interoperability standards
• Apply data governance across organizational structures
• Analyse and visualize data for operational decisions
• Translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders

• Three years of geospatial intelligence experience
• Three years of data management and information-structure analysis
• Relevant vocational qualification with the specified experience
• English proficiency at NATO SLP 3333
• Nationality of a NATO member country

• Project-related definite-duration appointment
• Appointment is subject to national security clearance
