The Senior Information Systems Assistant will deliver enterprise application services for OICT from Valencia. The role develops and maintains information systems, leads requirements analysis and application projects, supports secure deployment and data workflows, and guides technical staff. Its work strengthens reliable software delivery for UN operations through web development, GIS, integration, documentation and user-focused support.

• Troubleshoot computer information systems, databases and applications
• Develop, test, debug and implement application releases, modules and functionality
• Design application systems and maintain technical documentation and change controls
• Lead projects that define user requirements and build or modify application prototypes
• Contribute to systems analysis, feasibility studies and application-improvement testing
• Support application security, data backup and recovery
• Guide junior staff and supervise work as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in information systems analysis, programming, systems administration, software development, technical writing or a related area, or eight years with a first-level degree
• At least seven years developing web applications using .NET Core and JavaScript or TypeScript
• At least six years developing GIS applications using ArcGIS technology
• At least five years developing software using Agile methodology and tools such as Git and CI CD on Azure DevOps
• At least two years using React to build single-page applications
• English
