Job Description
The Senior Information Systems Assistant will support OICT enterprise application services for UN field operations. The role develops, deploys and maintains information systems, leads technical work on requirements and integration, manages documentation and support procedures, and guides junior staff while improving application reliability, data workflows, user support and operational technology services.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot computer information systems, databases and applications
- Develop, test, debug and implement application releases, modules and functionality
- Design application systems and maintain technical documentation and change controls
- Lead projects that define user requirements and build or modify application prototypes
- Contribute to systems analysis, feasibility studies and application-improvement testing
- Support application security, data backup and recovery
- Guide junior staff and supervise work as required
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in information systems analysis, programming, systems administration, software development, technical writing or a related area, or eight years with a first-level degree
- At least seven years of business analysis and functional-requirements capture for international field operations
- At least six years of SAP and custom-software system and data integration
- At least five years of data analysis and modelling with Power BI and Power Query
- At least five years building ETL processes with SQL and Power Query
- At least three years leading a development team building web applications using Agile methodology
- English

- Air-operations logistics knowledge for UN or comparable international field operations
- Information-security experience in authentication, identity management or compliance
