Ingénieur(e) Agronome

Supports FAO Tunisia’s agricultural programme delivery and field operations. The volunteer helps plan and monitor agricultural activities, collect and manage beneficiary and partner data, prepare technical reporting and project documentation, organise training and technical events, and maintain coordination with farmers, local authorities and community organisations advancing sustainable agrifood systems.

• Support planning and implementation of FAO agricultural field activities
• Conduct field visits to monitor delivery and identify beneficiary needs
• Collect, verify and manage data from beneficiaries and local partners
• Prepare technical reports, summaries and project-monitoring documentation
• Organise training, workshops and technical events for beneficiaries and partners
• Coordinate information exchange with agricultural authorities, farmers and community organisations

• Degree in Agriculture, agricultural engineering or a related field
• One month to one year of professional experience in agriculture, rural development, agricultural extension, agrifood systems or natural-resource management
• Experience or skills in Artificial Intelligence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email and internet
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English

• Experience in the development sector
• Knowledge of agricultural challenges in rural Tunisia
• Knowledge of Kairouan, Jendouba, Médenine, Gafsa or central Tunisia
• Familiarity with database management
