Job Description
Leads information management for Somalia’s national and sub-national WASH Cluster, turning partner and assessment data into analysis, maps and dashboards for humanitarian planning. The role strengthens response monitoring, inter-agency coordination, partner reporting and evidence-based prioritisation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Implement the WASH Cluster information-management strategy and data-analysis plan
- Manage national and sub-national response-monitoring databases and 3W, 4W and 5W systems
- Design assessment tools and clean, validate, triangulate and securely store data
- Produce dashboards, maps, infographics, situation updates and narrative reports
- Support needs analysis, response prioritisation and Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan processes
- Analyse gaps, coverage, overlaps and trends to guide operational decisions
- Coordinate information management with OCHA, SWALIM, clusters and partners
- Train government and partner teams and support WASH supply and distribution monitoring
Role Requirements
- Relevant background in information management, information systems, GIS, information technology, computer science, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, data science or a related field
- At least seven years of professional experience in information management, data management, GIS, assessments, situation analysis, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field
- Ability to collect, clean, validate, analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, dashboard tools and geographic information systems
- Knowledge of responsible data management, confidentiality and data-protection standards
- Fluency in English and Somali
Desired Criteria
- Experience with humanitarian coordination, the cluster approach, HNO or HRP processes, or OCHA reporting systems
- Formal training in information management, cluster coordination, GIS, or monitoring and evaluation
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, website management or online publishing
- Experience with UNICEF, another UN agency or an international humanitarian organisation
