Summary of Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain MIS databases, spreadsheets and data-management processes
- Integrate the ACRLP MIS with oneUNOPS, AIB MIS and other external systems
- Build SQL queries, scripts, dashboards and automated reports for data extraction and analysis
- Maintain data quality, digital archives, system security, backups and disaster-recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot MIS issues and support field users, facilitating partners and contractors
- Supervise GIS associates and data-entry assistants and assure the quality of their outputs
- Support finance reporting, expenditure tracking, visualisations and thematic mapping
- Prepare user manuals, standard operating procedures and training for staff and partners
Role Requirements
- Secondary-school completion with eleven years of relevant experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree with seven years of experience
- Fluent English
- Experience in information management, database administration or a related field
- Capability in data collection, cleaning, validation, verification, analysis and reporting
Desired Criteria
- Web design and database programming or administration experience
- Knowledge of UN information-management, ICT and database systems and policies
- Experience with UNOPS, Afghanistan, community projects or humanitarian programmes
