Responsibilities
- Apply common operational and UNHCR data standards with operational partners
- Compile, aggregate and analyse protection and programme information
- Implement data-collection plans and perform data quality and consistency controls
- Produce standard information products and support cross-border analysis
- Train data-collection and data-entry teams in information-management practices
- Use geographic data for mapping and geographic information systems
- Support needs assessments through data collection, processing and analysis
- Advise partners and colleagues on technical information-management requirements
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with one year of relevant experience, or graduate or doctoral degree with no prior experience
- Degree in information technology, demography, statistics, social sciences or another relevant field
- Knowledge of the UN system and humanitarian community
- Experience handling confidential data and different data-collection methodologies
- Fluency in English
