Research and protection support

Supports UNHCR’s regional protection work through desk research, legal and policy analysis, and knowledge management. The online volunteer synthesizes multi-country evidence on asylum, mixed movements and refugee protection into briefs, presentations, learning materials and structured resources.

• Research protection, asylum, mixed movements and related legal or policy topics
• Review and organize reports, guidance, meeting records and technical sources
• Draft analytical summaries, briefing notes, concept notes and background papers
• Synthesize information from multiple countries and stakeholders
• Develop presentations, communication products and learning materials
• Document good practices, lessons and emerging trends
• Organize reference materials and support regional meetings and webinars

• Strong research, analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Fluency in French
• Good command of Microsoft Office

• Online Volunteer assignment lasting 84 days
