Assistant Registration and Identity Management Officer

Supports UNHCR Pakistan registration and identity-management work for refugees and asylum-seekers, helping manage registration data, partner-led processes, corporate identity tools and protection-focused operational planning.

• Support implementation of registration strategies and methodologies for populations of concern
• Draft and implement operation-specific registration SOPs, including data-protection and fraud-prevention provisions
• Support quality assurance for continuous registration, verification and identity-documentation processes
• Conduct data-quality checks and prepare registration statistics and reports
• Coordinate with government authorities, partners and UNHCR teams on registration-related activities
• Build registration capacity for UNHCR staff through coaching, training and guidance
• Use registration data and corporate identity systems to support protection planning and durable solutions

• Undergraduate degree with one year of relevant experience, or graduate or doctorate degree in a relevant field
• Education in information technology, social sciences, international relations, law or another relevant field
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and reviewing SOPs for registration, identity management or protection processes
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in data management
• Knowledge of English and the UN working language of the duty station if not English, plus local language for national professional roles
