Overview

Design and quality-assure qualitative research with children in China on their experiences with relational AI. The remote consultant will support the local research partner, analyse findings and author a UNICEF Innocenti report with evidence-based discussion and policy recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Design the qualitative methodology and consultation workshops with children
  • Support piloting and implementation by the local research partner in China
  • Review research findings and quality-control qualitative analysis
  • Coordinate input from an expert advisory group
  • Write the UNICEF Innocenti report, analysis and recommendations

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant social science or technology field, or a bachelor’s degree with four additional years of experience
  • At least five years of professional qualitative research experience related to technology or children
  • Fluency in English
