Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-year monitoring and evaluation plans, tools and approaches
  • Select indicators and document their methodology, calculation and use
  • Coordinate assessments, implementation monitoring and results-monitoring surveys
  • Build participatory monitoring, evaluation and reporting with communities and partners
  • Coordinate coherent frameworks across donor and multi-partner initiatives
  • Support evaluation planning, quality assurance and communication with regional and headquarters teams
  • Maintain primary and secondary evidence and translate analysis into programming and advocacy insights
  • Design and deliver monitoring and evaluation learning for UNHCR staff and partners

Requirements

  • High school diploma with two years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree or higher with one year of relevant experience
  • Experience implementing monitoring systems and conducting or managing evaluations in UN, development or humanitarian contexts
  • Experience establishing monitoring systems and frameworks aligned with corporate results-based management
  • Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment
  • Knowledge of English or the UN working language of the duty station
