Responsibilities
- Monitor political, social and protection developments affecting persons of concern
- Integrate age, gender, diversity and community perspectives into protection strategies and plans
- Provide legal and operational guidance on refugee, displacement and documentation issues
- Coordinate protection programmes, standards and operating procedures with authorities and partners
- Monitor protection incidents and support interventions against refoulement or expulsion
- Advance durable solutions including voluntary return, local integration and resettlement
- Conduct field missions and strengthen protection information management and reporting
Requirements
- Degree or specialization in law, international law, international relations, social sciences, political sciences or a related field
- At least three years of protection experience with refugees or other people of concern
- Field experience
- Ability to live and work in difficult conditions
- French language proficiency
