Responsibilities

  • Build networks with refugee, displaced and stateless communities
  • Integrate community perspectives into protection strategies and operational plans
  • Coordinate protection priorities with government, partners and communities
  • Guide implementation of community-based protection procedures
  • Conduct field missions and report on protection trends and risks
  • Support community representation, conflict resolution and participation
  • Contribute protection data, project submissions and budgets

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with one year of relevant experience, or a graduate or doctoral degree with no prior experience
  • Relevant education in international development, human rights, social work, social science, political science, anthropology, international law or a related field
  • Professional experience in community services, social work, refugee protection or human rights
  • English and Kurdish
