Project Associate (Humanitarian Protection)

The Project Associate supports IOM humanitarian protection in Gaziantep through emergency case management, referrals and outreach. The role assists vulnerable migrants and refugees, maintains confidential case records, coordinates service providers and partners, and supports monitoring, reporting and capacity building.

Department: Humanitarian Protection

• Assess, plan, refer, follow up and close protection cases
• Support migrants and refugees with specific protection needs
• Maintain confidential case records and referral data
• Process assistance documentation and coordinate administrative actions
• Accompany beneficiaries to health, legal and protection services
• Coordinate authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and implementing partners

• School diploma with five years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with three years of professional experience
• Protection case-management experience including assessment, planning, referrals, follow-up and closure
• Experience supporting vulnerable migrants, refugees or people with specific protection needs
• Experience coordinating protection services with authorities, UN agencies, NGOs or service providers
• Experience maintaining confidential case records and supporting project reporting
• Fluency in English and in Turkish or Arabic
