Develops flood-risk analytics, models and knowledge products that strengthen disaster assessment, climate adaptation and risk management for World Bank operations and client governments. The role advises task teams, supports technical procurement and builds external partnerships.

• Develop flood-risk analytics for post-disaster damage tools and applications
• Advise task teams and government counterparts on risk methodologies and results
• Improve flood-risk modelling products, innovations, code and operational tools
• Support procurement and implementation of flood and climate risk-reduction activities
• Define technical requirements and identify experts or institutions for advisory work
• Build partnerships for new products and operational support
• Produce publications and contribute to programme monitoring, reporting and budgeting
