Humanitarian Cash Transfer Beneficiary Data Associate

Supports beneficiary-data quality and digital registration for UNICEF Viet Nam humanitarian cash transfers. The rostered UN Volunteer validates government datasets, maintains records in HOPE, processes grievances, tests registration tools and improves secure, accountable data workflows for emergency assistance.

Department: Social Policy and Governance Section, Viet Nam

• Review beneficiary datasets for duplicates, inconsistencies, completeness and integrity
• Convert beneficiary information into standard HOPE templates
• Maintain consistent records across HOPE and local-government datasets
• Validate information before and after import and resolve data-quality issues
• Process beneficiary corrections and collector changes through grievance workflows
• Organize grievance documentation for reconciliation, payment verification and audit
• Test and roll out online registration tools with technical and programme teams
• Document lessons and recommend Kobo-based or other digital data solutions

• At least one year of professional or volunteer experience in data management, technology and digitalization
• Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency
• Familiarity with digital data-collection and management platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage data under tight deadlines
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English

• Humanitarian Emergency Response roster membership may last six months and does not guarantee recruitment
• Part-time short-term national UN Volunteer assignment
