Information Management Officer

Supports UNICEF Afghanistan’s Planning, Monitoring and Data unit to implement and maintain data systems and tools for planning, reporting and monitoring. The officer cleans, manages and visualizes data; strengthens quality assurance and indicator alignment; develops analytical products; and builds field-team and partner capacity for information-management tasks that support humanitarian and.

• Bachelor degree in information management statistics computer science or relevant information-management field
• At least two years of information management data management GIS assessment or situation-analysis experience with UN or NGO
• Professional information-management skills
• Proficiency in English

• Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
• Formal training in monitoring data GIS or information management
• Familiarity with UNICEF indicator frameworks humanitarian reporting and planning tools
• Capacity-building and mentoring experience
• Country-level development fragile-setting or humanitarian-context experience
