ICT Associate – Head of ICT Unit

Leads ICT service delivery for UNDP common premises and associated offices in Baghdad. The ICT Associate manages infrastructure, helpdesk operations, vendors, budgets and team performance, while strengthening cybersecurity, continuity and disaster recovery. The role coordinates asset integration, network operations and technical documentation, ensuring secure, cost-effective ICT services that

• Lead common-premises ICT team and coordinate ICT services
• Manage helpdesk, network availability and end-user support
• Supervise staff, contractors and ICT vendor contracts
• Maintain secure network infrastructure and respond to incidents
• Implement business continuity and disaster recovery measures
• Prepare ICT budgets, procurement forecasts and asset reports

• University degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• Experience managing ICT infrastructure, networks and support operations
• Experience supervising ICT staff and vendors
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster recovery
• Fluency in English

• Cisco CCIE, CCNP or similar certification is desirable
• ITIL certification or ISO 20000 knowledge is desirable
• ISO 22301 knowledge and field-communications experience are desirable
