Summary of Responsibilities
- Implement ICT strategies and provide responsive user support
- Maintain hardware, approved software, updates, patches and technology inventories
- Advise projects on ICT planning, procurement, audits and software deployment
- Administer networks, connectivity, servers, backups, telephony and videoconferencing
- Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UNOPS systems and data
- Maintain business-continuity and disaster-recovery processes
- Supervise ICT service delivery, work planning and staff development
- Deliver ICT training and share lessons and best practices across knowledge networks
Role Requirements
- Secondary school with 6 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree with 2 years
- Relevant information-technology experience with office software, Active Directory, Windows servers and network infrastructure
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in either Uzbek or Russian
- Uzbek nationality or residence and work authorisation in Uzbekistan
Desired Criteria
- Globally recognised ICT professional certification
- Experience in multicultural or United Nations organisations in a developing country
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
- Fluency in English, Russian and Uzbek
