Provides secure, reliable ICT services for UNOPS operations in Uzbekistan. The associate administers networks and systems, maintains hardware and software, supports users, safeguards data and business continuity, advises projects on ICT procurement and supervises service delivery, training and knowledge sharing.

• Implement ICT strategies and provide responsive user support
• Maintain hardware, approved software, updates, patches and technology inventories
• Advise projects on ICT planning, procurement, audits and software deployment
• Administer networks, connectivity, servers, backups, telephony and videoconferencing
• Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UNOPS systems and data
• Maintain business-continuity and disaster-recovery processes
• Supervise ICT service delivery, work planning and staff development
• Deliver ICT training and share lessons and best practices across knowledge networks

• Secondary school with 6 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree with 2 years
• Relevant information-technology experience with office software, Active Directory, Windows servers and network infrastructure
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in either Uzbek or Russian
• Uzbek nationality or residence and work authorisation in Uzbekistan

• Globally recognised ICT professional certification
• Experience in multicultural or United Nations organisations in a developing country
• Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
• Fluency in English, Russian and Uzbek
