ICT Associate

Delivers secure, client-focused ICT services for UNOPS Myanmar by supporting strategy implementation, infrastructure and systems administration, service continuity and user support. The role coordinates technical advice, network operations, ICT assets and knowledge sharing with local teams and headquarters.

• Implement ICT and operational strategies in line with UNOPS policies and frameworks
• Provide help-desk support and technical guidance to users
• Maintain ICT hardware, software, asset records and approved updates
• Coordinate ICT procurement, project support and supplier-roster activities
• Maintain network connectivity, performance monitoring and hardware-maintenance arrangements
• Protect ICT systems and information assets through backups, continuity and disaster-recovery measures
• Maintain videoconferencing and telephony systems
• Deliver ICT training, knowledge-sharing and research outputs

• Secondary school or equivalent with six years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with two years of relevant experience
• Relevant IT experience using office software packages, Active Directory, Windows servers and network infrastructure
• Fluent English
• Fluent Burmese

• Globally recognised ICT professional certificates
• Experience in multicultural environments or UN system organisations in a developing country
• Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
